Congratulations to Amarjit Cheema, the CEO of Perry Hall Multi-Academy Trust who has been awarded the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in this year’s Queens Birthday Honours list. The award recognises Amarjit for her services in education.
This is wonderful news for Amarjit and everyone within the Trust.
On receiving this award, Amarjit said:
“I am incredibly lucky to work in a Trust with a team of like-minded individuals who share the same ethos and core vision – the children always come first and are at the centre of every decision we make.
It is extremely humbling to receive this recognition of the work which I have undertaken in supporting children both within and outside of our Trust. I have always felt so privileged to work with children, to impact their lives and to serve them and the communities that they live in”.
