During another successful event on Friday, we welcomed all parents from Early Years to celebrate the start of the Year of the Rat for Chinese New Year. During the afternoon, we sampled Chinese Food, learned some Mandarin, made Chinese Lanterns and sang Chinese songs. Parents and children also joined in the hall to recreate Chinese music and dance with the famous dragon dance. Mrs Wong even made a take home booklet called Mandarin for beginners for everyone to practise at home. Thanks to everyone who attended and made the afternoon a huge success.
